Jennifer's Bouquet for Bridal Portrait
This is a bouquet I designed for Jennifer's portrait sitting. Her color palette includes saturated oranges and golden yellows. Zinnias, sedums, antique hydrangea and chocolate perilla were gathered from my garden.

Good bye to Summer
I know that the thermometer hasn't gotten the hint, but the flowers have--- summer is coming to a close. This has been a good year for zinnias, sedums, scented geraniums, hyacinth bean vine, and more. The crested celosia has been a bit iffy, but there's always next year. Here are a few pics of garden gatherings. Top picture: buddleia, middle: hyacinth bean vine, bottom: mix of gomphrena, crested and wheat celosia, scented geranium and sedum. Notice the yellow buddleia, (butterfly bush). This plant is two years old- next year it should be producing enough blooms to add to summer and fall wedding flower designs.

Boxed and ready to go
Here are a few shots of the bouquets for Morgan and Gavin's wedding from last weekend. Roses are always beautiful, but it's really great to work with some of the different colors. Morgan chose Cool Water roses for both her bouquet and also in the bridesmaids- it is a gorgeous lavender rose! I can't wait to see the pictures that my friend, Pascal Fitts, (who is a very gifted photographer) did of the wedding and reception. Hopefully I will have some of those to share next week. The wooden boxes I use to deliver the flowers are the work of my husband, Wilson.
